These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MacSeq platform operated by Macrogen, Inc. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
MacSeq is a direct-to-customer (DTC) platform that allows researchers and scientists to order Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) services, track project progress, and access sequencing results.
2. Account Registration
You must sign in using a valid Google or Microsoft account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Sample Submission
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of sample information provided, including sample names, types, concentrations, and barcodes. Errors in sample information that result in failed experiments are the responsibility of the customer.
4. Payment
Payment is processed via Stripe (credit card) or invoice. All prices are displayed in your selected currency and are subject to change. Discounts and promotional pricing are applied as specified at the time of order.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
Please refer to our Refund Policy for detailed information on order cancellation and refund eligibility.
6. Data and Results
Sequencing results, including FASTQ files and QC reports, are made available via secure, time-limited download links. You are responsible for downloading and storing your data within the provided access period.
